Get to 40 you nearly eliminate cardiovascular disease for next 10 years.


Out of the "1,104 occupationally active adult men" participating, there was "a significant negative association between baseline push-up capacity and incident cardiovascular disease risk across 10 years of follow-up."

To put it plainly: Guys who completed more than 40 push-ups were likely to live longer and have healthier hearts.
